Responsibilities:
Sells conditioned air solutions to residential, commercial and industrial end-user markets.
Develops prospects in assigned territory from account files, lists of individuals and firms with possible needs, potential customers who have requested information and from other self-developed sources.
Calls on prospect to assess needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Inspects existing equipment and performs needs analysis.
Prepares proposal for customers.
Quotes prices, obtains consent of customer and schedules work.
Prepares job worksheet detailing material requirements and existing conditions for technicians.
Performs other related duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods including telephone communications, office systems and record keeping.
Knowledge of modern business communication, including style and format of proposals.
Skill to use a personal computer and various productivity and industry-specific software packages.
Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision.
Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.
Credentials and Experience:
Two years in-home or in-office selling experience with high-end capital goods preferred.
Demonstrated ability to generate leads and develop new business opportunities required.
Neat in appearance and professional in approach.
Special Requirements:
Valid operators license and clear MVR.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to frequently bend, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, sit, stand, walk, push, pull, handle objects, reach above shoulder level, use fine finger movements and lift or carry light loads (up to 25 lbs.)
Mental Requirements:
Ability to frequently read, comprehend, write, perform calculations, communicate orally, reason and analyze.
Environmental Factors:
Occasionally will be exposed to excessive noise, dust, fumes and gases.
Frequently will be exposed to moving machinery and marked changes in temperature and humidity.
Frequently will operate a motor vehicle.
Occasionally will work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities:
Installs, services, and repairs environmental control systems in residential, commercial and industrial establishments, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, pipefitting, and structural layout.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of refrigeration theory and troubleshooting techniques.
Skill to use personal hand tools and test equipment.
Ability to fit iron, copper and PVC pipe and to braze.
Ability to work independently and proceed with objectives without direct supervision.
Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.
Credentials and Experience:
Two years experience in a similar position preferred.
Recent tech school graduates may receive consideration.
Neat in appearance and professional in approach.
